Mental Health Counselor

Duties and responsibilities:

• Work with individuals, groups and communities to improve mental health
• Encourage clients to discuss emotions and experiences
• Develop therapeutic processes

Salary:41,500

Education:At minimum, mental health counselors must hold a master’s degree in counseling from an accredited institution.

Demand for this profession:The ability to inspire confidence, trust and respect, along with a strong desire to help others are key traits of mental health counselors.
