A dermatologist is a doctor who specialize in treating the hair, skin, nails and mucous membranes. Dermatologists diagnose and treat more than 3,000 different diseases. These diseases include skin cancer, eczema, acne, psoriasis, and nail infections. Becoming a dermatologist requires many years of education. You must go to college and earn a bachelor’s degree. It also requires Medical school, Dermatology residency program for about 3 years.
